Hey everyone! It's JJ! Director, Mixer, and Frisky VA for Under(her)Tail: Dubbed.

In case you haven't noticed, some of the previously uploaded chapters of our dub have been removed, and I'm sure the remaining ones are soon to follow. I don't know WHY exactly they've been taken down, but my current theory is the hot topic right now. Big surprise, this is probably a problem with Undertale's music licensing.

I could just constantly keep re-uploading the chapters, but that'll probably get me in trouble with Newgrounds. If I want these dubs to keep going up on Newgrounds, there's really only three solutions:

1. Commission a composer to create soundalikes.

Seeing as this project is a non-profit, and I'm already spending money to pay our talented voice cast, I don't have it in the budget to hire a composer as well. And I wouldn't want to screw one over for really cheap rates or volunteer work. There may be the occasional soundalike song, and I may get in contact with the Love & Lust team for permission to use their OST, but don't get your hopes up there.

2. Use Royalty-Free songs as backing tracks.

This isn't something I really want to do either, as royalty-free songs wouldn't fit the Undertale style/vibes I'd be going for, and could be downright distracting in some cases.

3. Just don't use music in the Newgrounds uploads

Currently the best option in my eyes, even if it's still shit.

I'm making this post, both to inform you all of what's going on behind the scenes, while also opening up a dialogue for you to share your opinions on what to do next. Feel free to let me know which solutions you prefer.
